Sydney Altbacker

Sydney Altbacker is a Nashville based singer-songwriter, composer and arranger from Long Island, New York. She is a recent graduate of the University of Miami's Frost School of Music where she studied music theory and composition, as well as media scoring and production.

Sydney is an encapsulating storyteller and performer. Her unique sound is influenced by the diverse sounds of folk, rock, and pop music. Her music reflects her journey of self-discovery, resilience and determination, offering an authentic glimpse into her life and emotions. Her songs are imbued with honesty and vulnerability, inviting her audiences to connect with her on a personal level.

When not writing or performing, you might find Sydney caught in the middle of a good book series, or laughing with her friends. She is a music educator, and brings her bright personality and passion for music into each lesson she teaches.

Sydney's debut album "All The Things" was released in 2022 and has garnered over 35,000 streams. Her new EP "Lie To Me" will be released April 12th, 2024.
